This clip has some nice shots of a large southern stingray that will come right up to divers looking for a handout. This was dive 1 on Dec 9th, 2009. Current was swift, on the wreck and very strong on the surface. Vis reduced a little because of this. You can see some of the layout of this dive spot here. The large cement tubes you see were on top of this wreck when she was intentionally sunk, but she flipped over and dumped them all over the area. The Seam Empress lies straight upside down because of this "engineering" that was done to make her a more interesting artificial reef.
We dove with Dixie Divers out of Boca Raton Inlet. Their dive shop is in Deerfield Beach, Florida. They run the "Lady Go Diver" boat. Water Temp was 80 degrees, even in December.
