I love both. I don't see why there's so much competition Mariah is the queen of effortless agility and range. Christina screams but have s listen to fantasia and well... anyway xtina voice is more powerful but that doesn't make her better

Christina's runs and vocal control are incomparable in my opinion. She doesn't "shout", she just has so much strength and emotion behind her vocals. The majority of the time she's singing with very little volume but so much emotion when needed. Mariah is obviously extremely talented too, but in my opinion, Christina by a mile.

Yet even though very similar aesthetics, their artistry are completely different....I cant choose....I always love listening to them sing.....Mariah's higher notes are a lot more opened, while Christina's lower register is a lot more defined. I love the scream Christina can pull out, but I love the clarity of Mariah's upper register.....

I really love the both of them...I have all there music, remixes, seen all their videos, root for them, listen to the B-sides, have the B-sides, know the un-released songs, know the live versions, know the history...But I never really listened and heard how similar they really were.....
