The Hoover Building

Photos I took of the Hoover Building, Perivale, Middlesex, London. This is, of course, where Hoover upright vacuum cleaners were built, from 1932 to the early 1980's. Cylinder cleaners were built at the Cambuslang factory - when the Perivale factory closed, upright production was also moved to Cambuslang.

Yes, that is correct. The front half is office space, the rear is a Tescos supermarket.

Nice to see this place. Learned of it from an old Elvis Costello song, "The Hoover Building".  Looks like they've done a great job of keeping it nice.

I use to drive past the Hoover building all the time when i lived in Greenford! It looks amazing lit up green at night! Lol

possibly the smartest building for tesco's there ever has and will be. pity the inside isn't as futureistic
