If you've ever had the feeling that you were being chased by ridiculously well-armed government agents while in possesion of a bizarre orb that was stolen by a random hitch-hiker, then California Crisis is definitely the anime for you. Also: seek help.

  • A very good review sir.

  • @AnimeTalk Thanks man :)

  • I just watched this I like the art style but what was the whole point of the black ball? what exactly was it?

  • @RapturousxPoet Yeah, they never really explain it - best guess is that it's probably an alien lifeform of some sort. The fact that it isn't really dealt with is one of the reasons I kinda felt they ran out of either time or money on this one.

  • I can't believe there was no mention of the music in this OVA! I have the four songs by Miho Fujiwara which were in this and they are all rather fantastic. The story was awful though. The ending made me want to punch somebody.

  • @princessiero2 That's a good point actually, I did like the music in this one. It fits the setting very well.

  • @calreid Heh, thought you might appreciate that one man :)

  • Road Blaster! Nice Alan ;)

  • @SanguineBullet667 Yeah, I kinda want to say it's unique - I certainly can't think of any other things you could readily compare it to.

  • I remember seeing this 8 years ago.. it was an odd anime to say the least
