  • lol i agree we had a p reg 220 t and it was awsome. a great car to have and as for looks it was way better than the BMW 3 . but its hgf went 2 times over 38000 miles and the alarm was a constent pain in the arse .it was when the wiring loom whent that we got shot of it . at work i whould say that for every 4 heads i skimm 1 is a rover head .its well known in my line of work that a lot of rover heads have design floors that rover whould never admit to

  • @NCW250 I agree, Ive bought and sold cars for years and have always had a load of bother with German made Carsa, they are VASTLY overrated like you say, nothing but trouble electrically and trim wise. Whereas Rovers are cheap, reasonably reliable and good looking...

  • @gleabroad BMWs are more troublesome electrically than the Rover. Ive owned loads of each of these cars and always been more frustrated with the BMWs... Rovers may have HGF problems on the K series models but they are reliable and good looking...

  • @gleabroad The Rover is a far better looking car and underrated, the BMW is an overrated, expensive car for what it is. Anyway the cylinder head gasket might blow if it's a Rover engine!

  • no contest bmw wins the rover will die on its ass then turn to rust unles the electrics set it alight first
