Wrong. The reason higher ed costs have risen in Texas is because the state has cut its funding by 40% over the last 30 years. When Rick Perry signed the tuition deregulation bill in 2003, he did so because it prevented him from having to raise taxes to fund public universities (you know, public, as in cheap college supported by public monies). So here's the calculus: no tax revenues=no support for public universities=no inexpensive college. Where's Harvard's $10k degree?

Most of us aren't running for President. Dumb is as Dumb says....and frequently in Perry's case. Also he is running on a pro energy platform as a key to his jobs plan...and what did he forget?? The Department of Energy. It seems rather that his brain and tongue are not connected. His campaign is over.

Perry is a complete embarrassment to himself, his state and his party. He should seriously consider cutting his losses and stepping down before he makes himself look like an even bigger fool. GAME OVER!!!
