Pride in one's work and skill is one good kind of pride, but too proud to grow spiritually by examining ego is another self-destructive kind of pride. Many Christians are victims of their own false humility-- which is a repressed form of pride; a condition that represents a deep-seeded sense of inferiority. "I am a righteous and pious Christian; let me help you find Christ"-- that kind.
