@Coonetta Hey man. Well, the pups are the same. 500t ceramic in the bridge, 496r in the neck. And they are screaming hot. The plus is the finish. Most pauls, and Gibsons for that mattter, are warm guitars. But if you want bright you will get it with those pickups. I love the 57's in my SG. On the other hand, my 08 LP Trad. sounds a bit flat and muddy. So I'm gonna drop in a burstbucker 3 in the bridge. Same output as the classics with a bit more edge. no wax more airy tone. True PAF. Rock on.

@LesterPaul01 hi, 59's wiring is the way the PU are wired. This is a Edwards Les Paul from Japan :D

yah man, you would really dig the 57 plus. They are the stock pups in my 08' Traditional. I have tried a few different sets of pups. Burstbucker 1 and 2, Burstbucker pros, Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates. I always run back to my 57 and 57 plus. They have a lot of RICH volume. The other sets sound sterile and thin. In my LP anyway. Rock on
