RC EasyCub Trainer ..... first flights for me with this new MPX model .... it's a 2 cell Lipo setup .... approx 110 Watts ..... 1.4 mtr wing span and approx 850g flying weight ....

I can see it would make an excellent first plane ..... it does what it says on the box in my opinion ..... I like it ....

  • seems like you had a nice day with nice plane.. Im planning the getting one..

  • @solomanaltar ...... check out a new MPX CUB just released ..... it's called the Fun Cub ..... it has ailerons and flaps ...... a decent power set ...... it's identical to my Cub but with the above additions ......

  • I can't believe its only a 100W motor - I opted for a 250W and 2S so Gawd knows what that will do. Waiting for decent weather. Excellent strip and flying, good vid.....

  • The stock motor will run at around 200W on a 3 cell and I might try it one day but not yet ..... let us know how you get on and post a video if you can ..... take it easy with that power level ..... I run mu Easy Star with a 230w motor/3 cells and I could rip the wings off in flight if I didn't take care .....

  • waht does it fly with? electricity or something else

  • Here is my set-up with 330W @ 3S with ailerons, flaps and some other mods. Very nice to fly and the wings don't care about high speed, inverted flying, loops, etc.... Remaining change is the landing gear. Search YouTube for "Au6jP_Qr5ng" to see video

  • It's 3 channels, but easy to add ailerons (+2 servos, 2 channels) and flaps (+2, 1 channel). The cutting areas are designed on the wing... I'll build in the Turnigy 3536 that I used in the EsyGlider before the crash (330W, 11x6", 1400gr. thrust) with 3S LiPo

  • Very nice! Does the EasyCub has ailerons, or just 3 channel?

  • Thanks for the PM!! You're right about the power, I'll keep mine on 2S. It seems like Multiplex got it right again, when people realise there will be a queue for EZCub. I am on RCUniverse if you want to pop in. Byeee, good flying!!!

  • GREAT Flight and Landing!!!
