Nobody - especially not the AKC - kills dogs because they're not purebred. If anything, the AKC promotes good dog ownership, so to speak. And they do NOT make "master breeds"; they help explore the natural talent and ability of each breed.

Uh, this is one of the dumbest things I have EVER seen.

The KKK hunted down and murdered countless people in this country. And they made life miserable or at least chronically uncomfortable for an exponentially larger number.

The idea that the tactics employed by the KKK are at all at play in the AKC is incredibly disrespectful to humanity of any color.

@AequoEtBono , the video makes perfect sense. We hate KKK not because they killed people(US today was formed based on killing people- before the wars as well as during the war). We hate KKK because they believe in pseudo science of racism and eugenics. That is what pedigree breeding supposedly is. It is some kind of last try to prove the pseudoscience of eugencis correct.

i actually don't think this ad is that offensive. I think it makes a pretty good point - can we take a minute and compare the lives of purebred dogs, and mutts and pit bulls, etc that are used for fighting or just suffer plain physical abuse and neglect?

I think peta's ad with the black chick in the tree was definitely racist and offensive.

PeTA could be better yes, but I think in history, they have promoted veg*nism and liberation of the animals more than any other person/group out there. They probably have influenced an insane amount of people who otherwise would not of been veg*n to be veg*n and for animal rights.

This so called fight that PETA is so actively waging is not about the animals. Its about who makes the animals decsions.  It's totally political and absolutely about the money. PETA swoops into town, makes faults aligations, collects the donations and leaves without a resolution...and, of course, has their pockets full.
