"When it comes to your child nothing else should matter". I AGREE ! Unfortunately not everyone else in the world thinks that way. I have never come out to my parents because they are not gay friendly and would not accept me. I chose to move out at an early age as well as moving to a city about 30 miles away. For everyone who comes out to accepting parents, please understand how lucky you are.
Just wanted to say you are great. I totally get angry at parents who react in that way..and im not even gay. I reckon the kicking out of the house thing is just an intial reaction that comes from anger and the fact that they kinda cant control the situation (among other things like not understanding and preconceived ideas)...but at the end of the day i think they regret it but have too much pride to ask them to come back...not that that excuses the initial kicking out...
I could have sworn I made a comment about this vid but what ever. I won't say who because I don't wanna start a fight with anyone but If you really think its ok for a parent to kick out there child for any reason without trying to talk to them or get them help or even just understand and agree to disagree then your a bad parent and should not have had kids in the first place... just my opinion... Love ya STevieNYC!
@jenna120s I was not attracted to the girl in a sexual way. I was in denial about my homosexuality because I went to 14 years of Catholic school where I was told constantly that homosexuality is wrong. So I didn't want to believe that without trying I was this horribly wrong person. I wanted control over who I was, so I chose to date women at first, thinking that I could change myself. It took a while for me to realize that there was nothing wrong with who I was as a gay man.
@jenna120s I slept with a girl because I was in denial that I was gay. I am not bi. I am gay. I don't understand your questions of people forcing me to become straight. Do you mean to ask if there was pressure on me to be straight before I came out?
@StevieNYCdotCOM Not really. why did you sleep with a girl? I think you are bi. btw, I lost my virginity to a gay guy and it pissed me off. did people forced you to become straight?
@jenna120s I think you misunderstood when I said "I would compare to being born with brown hair. Yes you can dye your hair blonde, but you are still a brunette. Yes I can chose to sleep with women, but Im still gay." I was being hypothetical in saying that I COULD choose to sleep with women, but this doesn't make me straight. I am gay, but yes I've slept with a woman once before I came to terms with the fact that I was gay. Does this clarify things?
@tjport1980 so true, i hope your doing good on your own and I pray that your parents would someday understand, as I pray for mine :)

@StevieNYCdotCOM one last question, I wondered if you asked her out? because how did a gay man get into a relationship.
