the piano is so beautifully haunting... yet so comforting...

@AdventuresofCrayo Well, one of his main influences is Lou Reed... so that kind of explains it.Also if he didn't sing like the way he does he'd be boring.

Harmonies are A+

They're not - but I know what you mean. I think they sing a bit 'droopy' like when he says 'I know that it's.. hard' he goes down on the 'hard' to just fit the mood of the song.

.... they are kind of tone deaf... :S... i mean if knew how to not sing sooo pitchy then his voice would be very sexy :) but musicwise... very very delicious :)

My girlfriend broke up with me one night. She left crying for some reason even though I should have been crying. She got in a car accident and was put into the hospital. I held her hand when she died. This song reminds me of her. I truly loved her.

The girl I'm in love with sent me a text saying that this song was how she felt towards me and that was her way of saying she was done:'(

Sometimes I feel like no one can understand the pain I am going through after losing my girlfriend. This song reminds me that I'm not alone, and it makes my gray world color again. It reminds me that I haven't met the one yet, and she's out there, maybe listening to this song now too.
Laura Marling is quite the heartbreaker

i dont know if you read what i put so i thought i'd just comment you directly the tuning is C G C E G C and it sounds flawless when i play it that way so im going to stick with that haha and about the last e string it might be an E but you dont even play that string until the very last strum of the song and i think it just sounds better as a C. hope i helped!
