I've tried to make this music video kinda thing. But this is not as good as the Jan Garbarek/Ustad Fateh Ali Khan one. The purpose is to share this beautiful piece of music:

    I am turkish and I agree with artbiz45. I wish I could speak Persian .Great culture,language,music.Only thing I don't care for is the religions that we carry like viruses.

    I think Turks and Iranian people are from the same root. People have mixed up through the past 12000 years that really it don't make any different. If someone speaks Turkish it does not mean you are a full blast Turk or if I am writing in English I must be an English man. We only can be proud of what we carry on our shoulders

    Who is Turk , trough out history , do we have any country call , Turku , till ataturk in Turkuy, how come you call Safavid s Turk , Safavid fought ottoman whole entire their life , meanwhile anyone who lives whithin Iran e bozorg could become king of Iran , did Seljuk speak Turkish !!! Even most ottoman king , they had a Persian name and also speak Persian , culturally , what ever Turk have , they got from iranic people , superior in any way , love iranic people

    Turks ruled persian until the 20th century... look at the safavi,akkoyunlus,karakoyunlus­,timur,salgurs,great seljuks,ghaznavids,Harizmşahs,­ilkhanate states...

    and ossetian (asetin or kuşha or as-alanians)is scythian...WHO r the scythians...scythians is the ancestors of the Huns...

    the name of Iran has emerged in 1925...did not have prior to the name of iran...pers domination of the iran only 543-333 BC...
