question- how did you modify the photo or tweak artcam so that darker areas were not lower on the Z axis?
when i've tested it, dark lips become huge pits; dark hair becomes a huge sinkhole. in fact, it was just too much work to deal with.
question 2 - artcam never makes a surface that smooth from any photo - it's spiky both upwards and downwards. the sculpting tools can remove that, but your vid doesn't show any such tweaking...
I never saw artcam produce good work without tons of tweaking.

Of course, it's not possible without tweaking. You just must repare all what artcam do. I like to sculp. much by sculpting tools, so it,s not big problem for me.
Fully automatic sculpting was be easy, but it,s not so ..creative.

In ArtCam has great tool named by ''sculpting tools'' Just like traditional sculpting with clay but virtually with virtual tools. Little structure can be added right from photo too.

No big problem. Only frame's can give good this appearance. Eyes must little unsharp too.
