Star Ocean Blue Sphere Dias Battle Skills

A video to demonstrate Dias in battle.

The bad thing about Dias is that his finishing combo almost always moves him straight past the enemy. If you don't end the combo with a decent Battle Skill then you'll move past the enemy leaving you open to attack. You have to judge when the last opportunity to hit the enemy is going to occur.

How you make them learn so many skills, do they learn it randomly or what?

There are certain requirements and triggers for each KM/spell. The requirements could be having certain skills at a particular level or having a certain MP or INT value. Then you learn the KM/spell by performing the trigger - usually performing a certain combo for fighters and casting a spell for mages.

To learn the "best" KMs/spells you must use the IC ability Psychometry for fighters and Spell Research for mages. Precis, Opera and Chisato all learn their KMs from items created through the IC Machinery.
