I like this version a lot. I love how the narration uses elements from all three incarnations of SE, like "Like a grand and miraculous spaceship" came from 1994, "And for a brief moment, we have been amongst its many passengers" both come from 1986 and 1994, and "Where are we going" is a toast to the original from 1982. This writing is genius.
