The Delightful Behringer bcr2000 midi controller...This usb midi controller is compatable with so many pieces of software that its uses are virtually unlimited.Reason 4 recognises the controller instantly, so does Ableton,TraktorDJ and so on.....the learn function is so easy, midi maps are a breeze....thanks behringer.

  • hi alice, would you mind helping me out. i am trying to use the bcr to change the parameters of the jomox mbase11, trying to trigger the sounds with a keyrig49 midi keyboard. i always just used audio, now i try getting into midi and i find mountains to climb... audio and midi running through fireface400 and using ableton.. can you help? how do i need to set it up?

    thank you soo much!!!

  • @detroitcalling have a look for the " learn " function on yr jamox.

  • i have the same one but white and with the faders and was wonderin how u got the top nobs leds to go with the channels beat?

  • @HoodifiedStudios I read how to in this thread.

  • thanks Alice, I guess you mean using the preset for Reason and encoder group four, for the bouncing "UV" meters. I've been programming my encoders and software from scratch, but I'll peak into that preset and Reason to see what kind of midi messages and options they used to make it work. I have a feeling, thought, that it's only going to work for midi tracks, reading midi volume, and not audio tracks. That would require something to translate actual db output to midi CC messages. I'm not expert.

  • @Mishaman61 i`d like to know how you get on with that,,, if i can find out,, i will post. thank you.

  • @alice303 pretty freakin awesome

  • Last week mine cost $139.00 US at B&H photovideo in New York. I chose the Brc (knobs) over the motorized fader version because faders seemed a much more delicate mechanism prone to break. With this you still get the feedback from your gear/computer as to where the settings are with the LEDs. The knobs are "infinite," btw, you can turn them forever. Really cool and easy to use with Ableton Live.

  • @Mishaman61 the VU effect is using reason by propellerheads software. choosing encoder group 4 when controlling a mixer track in reason. It can be done with Live if you use in mackie mode ,, but not sure how.

  • @RamzGT i bought this in the uk for 105 gbp two years ago.
