I was going to buy this in VC but I have a few questions, with you being in the PAL zone.

Because it's the unoptimised PAL version, is the game running slow with black borders, or did they sort that out? Also, I see you are playing with a stretched bad aspect ratio, when using a 16:9 widescreen TV, are you able to set it back to how it should be at 4:3?

The game is identacle to the PAL original bud.

So nothing's been changed/fixed. And changing the screen depends solely on your own T.V. I can switch mine to 4:3 but as I then get git big huge black borders on the side, I never do.

There's no in game option to do so 'cause there wasn't a need for it on the Gen/MD.

@DEIVION212 OK, thanks. I'll definitely be giving that a miss then, since the TV downstairs doesn't seem to have options for adjusting the aspect ratio, and looking at things stretched out nearly twice as wide as they should be is one of my pet hates.

I'll be honest, I don't even notice stretching anymore, because I'd rather have the screen full, than have huge borders. So I set everygame I've got to fit my screen, no matter the console.

So it is something you'd get used to, but obviously I'm not you so I'll never know how much you hate it. Just thought I'd say because it might get to the point where you might have to put up with it, when you've got nothing else to play.

Because this (the above) is the case with every VC game I've bought.

Well, I've plenty of games to play, because I mainly use the PC for emulation. I just wanted me and my brother in law to be able to play co-op downstairs. Only reason I bought a Wii really, was to play Contra Rebirth, and from your vid I see you're playing that game with original ratio intact?

Although, having just tried SOR3 with Kega, this game in particular is actually ok stretched out. Kind of makes it feel like you've more room to walk about it. wii points need spening anyway..

Yeah 'cause it's Wii Ware, it's only the old games that tend to have screen size issues. It's rare the newer games do.

only thing I'm mad is they have bare knuckle 3 wad for the wii but it isn't patched and I don't know how to get it to work :( wanna play jap version badly
