Kendrick is doing a Tech N9ne. Meaning hes gaining allllll of his fanbase independently...to a point where he can eventually sell a lot of records. And although there are hundreds of underground rappers who dont get proper mainstream exposure...i'd like to see kendrick gain notoriety and open the door for other independent rappers to make it.
