The UN climate summit in Copenhagen came to a temporary halt as Tuvalu demanded commitment to a legally-binding agreement while industrialised nations refused to express an opinion.

  • Greenpeace founder Patrick Moore no longer recognizes the group he started and claims they were infiltrated after the fall of communism. Suddenly, the international peace movement had a lot less to do, he told Insight On The News in 1997. Pro-Soviet groups in the West were discredited. Many of their members moved into the environmental movement, bringing with them their eco-Marxism and pro-Sandinista sentiments.

    Greenpeace is just a political group using climate for their own means.

  • The average temperature in the Antarctic is -30 degrees Celsius. Humanity cannot possibly burn enough oil and coal to melt this giant block of ice. On the contrary, current climate models suggest that the Antarctic will even increase in mass: Global warming will cause more water to evaporate, and part of the moisture will fall as snow over Antarctic, causing the ice shield to grow.
