Nelson Eddy was a baritone; Lanza a tenor. Eddy was one of the finest baritones ever to be heard;Lanza -one of the finest tenors. Both were truly fabulous and representative of what ' real ' music is and should sound like. Today's " pop " musical culture is pathetic in it's presentation and belief in what is good music.

Unbelievable, Unforgettable! I've never heard Lanza's rendition of this classic. I've always admired the beauty and the power of this voice, but it's the unapologetic delivery that wins me over ever time. He sings it as if this was the last time this song was to ever be sung.
