  • Unbelievable, Unforgettable! I've never heard Lanza's rendition of this classic. I've always admired the beauty and the power of this voice, but it's the unapologetic delivery that wins me over ever time. He sings it as if this was the last time this song was to ever be sung.

  • Beautiful speaking voice and then comes THE singing voice and what a voice! Big, powerful, profound, impeccable phrasing, fantastic timbre full of beauty, in a word: GRAND.

  • FOI SEM DÚVIDA ALGUMA O MELHOR TENOR DO SÉCULO 20.

  • I'm not a big fan of Mario, but I have to admit that this is the absolute best version of this song, anywhere, anytime.

    Well done- wonderful.

  • @KenLavigneInConcert So well put!

  • Maravillosa interpretación de este tema bello tema en la voz de este gran cantante.

  • That is the most exciting voice I have ever heard!

  • There was no one that could match his voice,

  • @liguriamylove :

I completely agree with you. Nelson(a baritone), Mario(a tenor) both had powerful, tender. beautiful voices with elegant diction, exquisite timbre. Nelson and Mario were very passionate-their voices resonated from their souls. Lorraine

  • this is the way iwant remeber not only this beautifil song but mario at his peak what a voice , majestic winderful, emotional everything i wantde to hear it touched my deepest feelings

  • What a voice of Lanza! And what a beautiful song with outstanding words!! Heavens, why aren't more songs like these?!

  • Nelson Eddy was a baritone; Lanza a tenor. Eddy was one of the finest baritones ever to be heard;Lanza -one of the finest tenors. Both were truly fabulous and representative of what ' real ' music is and should sound like. Today's " pop " musical culture is pathetic in it's presentation and belief in what is good music.
