@Soky270 You'd be surprised how tough they are. I've personally seen someone beat one against a concrete wall, and it survived with a couple scuffs.

How tough is this rail? It seams like there would be a little play just holding it on with a couple of allen screws.

Thanks for sharing, but I was wondering what length of gas system you have there? I am planning to purchase a bushmaster xm-15 carbine. With 16" barrel. And i really like that the handguard stretches about that length of the barrel. So is this a carbine with a 16" barrel. If it is, i know that i want the 11" version.
