MAGIC !! SUPERB !! Thank you kindly for posting this wonderful piece - it just confirms my earlier opinion that this pianist and orchestre produced a real gem with this concerto in 3 Parts.

After looking through tons of interps, this being the last one, I still can't find one that tops Howard Shelley's; he takes it out of this world.

FANTASTIC performance by the pianist and orchestra!
However, I think it would have been just a TINY bit more exciting if Mendelssohn has written the piano part to play through to the very end somehow along with the orchestra.
