Periphery- Buttersnips

Buttersnipps playthrough. I'm ALL for constructive criticism, it helps me out a lot, but posting comments like "this sucks" and "you're terrible" isn't helping me in any way. It's not hurting me either though- sorry, guys out there trying to put me down :) Oh, and if you're going to call the playthrough sloppy and terrible, at least justify your comments by proving that you can actually play. I'm looking at you, trolls with 0 videos. Thanks for watching!

i dont think its as messy as it sounds, its just your tone otherwise your technique looks fine. what did u use to get your tone?

@TrippyTro My amp is broken, so I used podfarm without any expansion packs or anything like that. I really don't know what I'm doing with podfarm unless it's creating jazz tones haha. It's pretty apparent.

@emilyrosenfield podfarm, go ahead and use the powerball amp sim (cant remember specific name) and just turn the gain down a good bit, after that customize to your own liking. otherwise, just work on finger strength or maybe use smaller strings (assuming you arent using 9-46) and then youre set. lord knows your attempt is much better than mine would be lol. cheers!

A noise gate would work well in giving your tone much more punch, i agree with Shazuku. Other than that its all about tone and technique though. Rock on!! :)

@emilyrosenfield Misha uses 1-3 of noise gates maybe you should get one of them if you want the guitar to sound like the actual song.

its good but the individual techniques need a bit more work i rekon like 30 hours or so more practice and you will nail this
