Jacksyna(ps)ces

Here is a great card effect from the mind of Earnest Earick, which can be found in his book called: By Forces Unseen.

The first time I saw this effect, I knew I had to learn it. But I never really got around to doing so, up until now. So here is my useless attempt at performing this masterpiece of an effect. I'm still practicing it, but I decided to put up a video because I haven't done so in a long time - and because I am not feeling very well lately, god knows when I will be able to put another video up.

Just as an update, please understand that I have exams coming up within the next two weeks, and I will be very busy studying for them. Besides that, I have an infection called "Fifth Disease" right now which is really slowing me down as well. So things are pretty bumpy up ahead, thus I might not be able to upload another video as late as July.

Loved it. I really enjoy your videos. But one problem with your patter. When you said there is no magician in the world who could find the jacks. How could someone possibly not find 4 FACE UP jacks in a deck?????

Haha thanks. And when I said that, I was exaggerating, obviously skilled magicians could, however such patter is added only to enhance and make the effect more visually impossible.

Hey! You used my handling with my convincers! I love it! haha

Only comment I can make is to show the first jack you put into the middle of the deck. At this point you can flash it...use this to your advantage and push in the jacks face up rather then face down. It will help a lot.

Another thing I came up with playing with this effect is that rather thena standard pass, try a dribble block pass...the last ace will end more in the middle of the deck.

Just a few ideas!

on the ace pick up before you show them all, its a little obvious on what you did. You have to be faster with those lifts and pick ups of multiple cards on camera. because you cant draw our attention anywhere else.
