I bought this laptop 8 months back. Never took it out of my house.. It was brilliant in the beginning...but now.. I`v got a load of problems coming up one by one -- The laptop heats like a frying pan...15 mins is all it takes to heat up. Once i start performing video editing, the machine powers off automatically.. Guess it cant take the load anymore... The battery has died off completely...So, i have to use the power source now.. Persoanlly, i think this is the worst laptop i ever used.. !!!

@diavolo23231 Acer rocks, in 2007 my parents bought an Acer laptop and last year it fell 2 times from a table and hit the floor really hard, but it still works! I bough one for me too this year because it's just awesome.

mine is fucked... i dont recommend this at all. but i guess others had a different experience.. Ive had to take out my internal wireless as this was causing a lot of lag issues.. cpu is improved greatly but isnt perfect. temperature wise, its warm as a boiling pot of fresh demon jizz.

The one thing i dont like about acer aspire laptops, are they get really hot on the bottom, because the vent is tiny.
