@abiezz Nowadays it's the other way around. Much harder to find diesels in America than Europe. They're a much better engine for daily driving/reliability, too.

@tog20 Just drive on the right & dodge the incoming cars. It's fun and you can drive 300SDL.

@abiezz they never made one for the UK market because the turbo would foul the steering system because we drive on the Left.

@whareth thats very hard. especially with the ignition. everything in the diesels run on vacuum, the gas models dont. but why would you destroy a 500sel?

@whareth That should be an interesting swap. I always wondered why they were never offered with the trusted diesel engines in Africa or Europe. Take pics or videos if ever you start the swap. It will be inspirational to many who may want to go that route.
