This is an extract of video footage taken at a Static Protest held on the 12th November 2009 from 12noon until 2pm. The purpose of this Protest was to demand the resignation of the Director of Consumer Credit of the Office of Fair Trading . The Protest was held outside the building of the Office of Fair Trading, located in Central London at Salisbury Square.
The purpose of the static protest was to draw attention to the unlawfull conduct of the Office of Fair Trading, and in particular, the comments and actions of Ray Watson, Director of Consumer Credit. The Office of Fair Trading's press release on 23 June 2009 OFT warns consumers about 'debt sale' scams 72/09 is in breach of Article 6 of the Human Rights Act. They failed to contact Momentum Network Limited or associated sellers with regard to the selling of debt, which they have labelled
publicly as criminal, without giving any right to reply. This breaches Article 6 as it denies Momentum Network Limited and any people who sold their debt the right to a tribunal, which in this case should be in a criminal court.
