Pakistan's position as a nation is precarious with it's very identity being chipped away by its own internecinal forces. Pakistan will eventually breakup into 2-3 smaller states, most likely will remain unstable as population transfers occur with more bloodshed.
Finally should this happen then of course Kashmir may be independent.
