I've been wanting to do a cover of Bob Dylan's "Simple Twist of Fate" for a while now after I heard Sean Costello's version of the song. I was saddened by his passing a few months prior to his scheduled performance at the 2008 Bean Blossom Blues Festival, Nashville, IN. His reinvention of the Dylan classic inspired this cover.

  • As Sean's Mom, I think your rendition is beautiful and that Sean would be proud for you to have listed him as your muse.

  • Thank you so much. I am honored that you stopped by to check out my vid. Sean's music continues to inspire me. He is a truly great musician and he will continue to live on through his wonderful music. I am touched that you left me a comment, and my deepest condolences for your loss.

  • Really nice. Love what you did with it.

  • Thanks Booze :D You got a great rendition yourself!

  • That was very sick.

What kind of body wood is your Sceptre made of? Ebony? Rosewood? Doesn't look like koa, but cool be the lighting. And is that a soundhole cover?

  • Koa, I think...

Its actually an old foam pillow I cut up and stuffed in my uke :P
