@koreanboy89 I'll leave it to Evo magazine: It's the GranSport's engaging performance on the road that stays uppermost in the mind, though. It has the sort of responsive, feelsome steering and dynamic composure we always wished the Coupe had, combined with a superb ride, excellent seats and a deliciously sweet- revving and potent engine. Best of all, it works on two levels, both as a cosseting four-seat GT and a sports car, something the DB9 tried but has so far failed to do.

@koreanboy89 man, woah, calling a maserati a waste of car space and not understanding whats so special about maseratis in a single post? you sure are a petrol head, haha
-
@nickeroo Cars a piece of junk. I don't understand whats so " Special " about Maseratis. I don't mind Ferrari's or those concept Cadillacs or whatever, just not a Maserati. Just a waste of exotic car space.

@koreanboy89 I love how haters always have a 'friend' with a better car. All the hates because you to broke to have a car, or drive a banged up old civic or some sh*t. How can you say this is crap, it only shows your incredible ignorance of cars. You may not like it, but its far from crap.
when this car was being developed Ferrari owned Maserati so it sounds and goes like a Ferrari

@Akyuz1000 as far as i know, that 4.2l v8 is designed by maserati itself and not by ferarri, or am i wrong?

@matpilch its a shared platform engine between Ferrari and Masser, jointly developed, the architecture can support 4.2-6l configuration. All v8's, all DOHC and VVT with four valves per cylinder. Although each manufacturer builds to their own specs. Ferrari use a 4.3l version in the F430, 4.3l in the California and 4.5l in the 458 Italia. 4.2l Masser is also in Quattroporte/granturismo as well as a 4.7l variant. in both too. It's a fantastic engine block.

@nickeroo thanks for clearing up things a bit. i was confused, cuz the ferrari engines are high revving beasts at most, while maseratis are known for unique sound but less power, less sportyness, if i may call it like that. but then, anything is less sporty than a ferrari, right?
