El Cancionero de Upsala, compilado por el círculo del Duque de Calabria, editado en Venecia en 1556, es la selección de 54 villancicos; 48 en castellano, 4 en catalán y 2 en galaico-portugués. 42 de ellos tratan temas amorosos y picarescos y los 12 restantes son villancicos religiosos y navideños.
Fue hallado en 1907 por Rafael Mitjana en la biblioteca de la universidad de la ciudad sueca de Uppsala, de ahí su nombre.


The Cancionero de Upsala is a volume of mostly anonymous Spanish music printed in Venice in 1556 and actually titled Villancicos de diuersos Autores, a dos, y a tres, y a quatro, y ya a cinco bozes...
It survives in a unique copy at the Uppsala University Library and was edited in 1909 by Rafael Mitjana; the subsequent literature has mostly adopted his spelling "Upsala" ("Upsala" being the historic Swedish spelling of "Uppsala" until the major spelling reform of 1906).
