u get shimmer by using a harmonizer set up high octave or 2 then detune or chrous then delay,im lucky enough to own a old 90s digitech harmonizer ips33b with shimmer presets in it.ive been using this rack effect since it came out and if u look at the edges rigs in videos they have a so called secret effect covered with gaffer so u cant see it well thats it ips 33 b now the edge will hate me but shit he didnt write the preset

@naturalprs I'm using the pitch shifter, vibrato and reverb to create the shimmer.
I've uploaded the preset at TC's website. You can download it from the preset vault section
