I intended to record the ground operation only, but her funny announcement makes this video more interesting

Again ladies and gentlemen if you have just joined us here at gate lounge number six, we will be boarding by the front and the rear door.

If you are seat.... sorry we're not boarding by the front and the rear door, I'm just used to saying that (eiei.) We are boarding by the front door only.

So we do call forward guests seated row 18 through to 24 first to come forward for boarding.

Please help out Christy at the scanning point by holding your own boarding pass... and have it ready to present to her as you approach the scanning point.

Another reminder is now is the time to switch off all your mobile phones and all other electronic devices.

So again if you are seated row 18 through to 24 we do invite you to come forward for boarding.

Oh behalf of myself and Christy we do hope you enjoy your flight to Brisy and do thank you for choosing Virgin Blue.

The Virgin Blue name was the result of an open competition; it was a play on the predominantly red livery and the Australian slang tradition of calling a red-headed male 'Blue' or 'Bluey'.

Flew with Virgin Blue twice in 2003 havent used them since, Used QANTAS ever since (Funny that I dont know if it was the weird dunny paper game they played on my virgin blue flight or if it was the crabby flight attendant with an attitude because my mother was disabled on the flight and asked a simple question for a seat belt extension, as the seat belt was long enough but since she cant bend fully due to her back it was either clip it up and be uncomfertable and in pain or have the extension)
