Kansas - Dust in the Wind (Cover)

I have always loved this song. When I started learning guitar, a little over a year-and-a-half ago, I was determined to learn it. However, I faced two problems:
A) the original song is in the key of C, and that meant the vocal is too high for me. So, I capoed on the 3rd fret to make it in the key of D# - sung one octave lower.
B) the solo is written for viola and violin played in harmony. I had to transcribe those parts to guitar and this is what I came up with. Hope you enjoy it.




The main rhythm guitar part was played on an Epiphone Emperor Regent jazz box, the viola part transcribed to guitar was played on an Eastman ER0, and the violin part transcribed to guitar was played on an Eastman ER2. All three guitars were played "clean" through an Acoustic AG15 amp. Lead and backing vocals provided by ESilva (me).
