A British study by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists says that a human fetus cannot feel pain before the age of 24 weeks. The new study says that nerve connections in the brain are not sufficiently formed to allow pain perception before then. After 24 weeks, the doctors in the study say there is increasing evidence that the fetus is in a state of "continuous sleep-like unconsciousness or sedation." Is abortion still wrong, if the fetus can't feel pain? Here to debate women's choice to an abortion is Monica Potts from the American Prospect and Dr. Janice Crouse director at Concerned Women for America.
@Kortneiii I also mentioned damages to the uterine lining because of the abortion, and the heightened risk factor of breast cancer.

@prettylyricsmarie Out of every 100,000 abortions done, 1 woman dies. For every 10,000 births, 1 woman dies. All clinical procedures carry a risk factor, but childbirth is 10x more likely to cause death than terminating the pregnancy.

@thisismine737 there are videos on youtube about women dying during an abortion, body parts of fetuses being sold after an abortion, women who can never have babies again because of the damage of the abortion, and women who have multiple abortions and when they have a child it comes out with handicaps...

@payasoinfeliz Or maybe you choose definitions that disagree with the United Nations. That point is easy to turn around. It's a non-point.
Dishonesty is not a trait of mine. After all, after being lied to for many years, I found the truth (against my will) and became pro-life. If I were dishonest (as if honesty means choosing the same definition as you anyway, regardless of whatever authority you choose), I would still be lying to myself.

@degree7 For now, I have this shitty drawn picture of what a fetus supposedly looks like at different stages of development. But look at 3 months...looks like a human, just with a very large and misshapen head. At 5 months, that's definitely resembling a human being.

@degree7 at the moment) the fetus is beginning to look like a living creature and perhaps one can say a very tiny infant. I'll post a link later tonight of fetuses at different stages of development when my damn internet works.
