@laojze i was not a fan of Empire in the least. but i also wasn't a large fan of that era in history. There was not much strategy involved in the battles so i guess they couldn't have the battles rely on strategy because it would not be accurate. that is why i wish they would make a more recent era game. WW2 would be epic.

@zbrat8 I don't think they'll choose to make a WW2 era TW game any time soon, there are abundances of that era games currently saturate  the market . After Shogun2 they may go with Rome2 TW, think.

@laojze yea i watched a few gameplay videos and it doesn't look that great, but in PC gamer they did a playthrough and they kinda summarized it. and the guy said he got his butt raped when the AI distracted him on one side, causing him to put all of his archers and stuff on that side, and then charged his keep with a few troops on the opposite side coming out of a forest. but thats the best story ive heard about the AI.

@zbrat8 Remember they also released a video like that with Empire TW ? It's all PR stunt.

I mean you might like it but it maybe just wasn't for everyone, at least not to my expectation :P

@zbrat8 The Gold edition is about 30 bucks right now.

I'm not so optimistic about Shogun2, I wish they would focus more on fine-tuning the AI instead of the graphic engine alone.

@SS4312 Yeah, you can do human vs human or human co-op vs AIs in multiplayer game.
