absolutely beautiful, you and your voice :)

Truely beautiful again. Thanks for being here. The simple guitar playing is all you need: with a voice as pure as yours you don't need fancy backing.

hey lind,
thanks for your wonderful version of this song!

you have a lot to practice, you missed things that are of great importance, the tiny but most important things. this is not complete.
(i do my comparison of this to the Joan Baez performance)
one great thing to change - listen to joan - how she, in the last chord - turns and ends the song on major (G major). this unexpected turn makes the end - of hope and removes the sadness (as if of endless saparation and only memory of love) to a living, real, strong in present, existing love

Great voice :-)
Great song.
Thanks for sharing !

almost unbeatable rendition (only by yourself)...

I was waiting for that one, and it's even better than what I had imagined: perfectly beautiful! I also like the fact the lyrics are a little different from the ones Joanie used.
You have such great control with your vocals in being able to sing this song very, very well. I have heard others try to rush through this song (and it can be a difficult song to sing) but you sing it so well...so lovely to listen to you.
You truely have a gift for singing well. Just curious, did you sing as a child or not until your teens?
Are your parents singers, musicians as well?

I have been singing ever since I can remember. I had a sing a long book and my mom would record me singing along all the time.
My mom and dad are both musicians, and actually played shows together a lot when they first met/married. My mom doesn't sing much anymore except for a choir every once in a while, and my dad is in a band at the age of 56! So I learned a lot from them and music has always been a huge part of who I am, I'd like to think!
