@thesniper1191 have a 92' camaro RS, on a scale of 1-10 it is a 7... i paid 7500 for it, it has all the RS emblems on it but its not a RS it has a 383 stroker engine, holly 850 carb, turbo 700r powerglide tranny, t shift, msd computer, t tops (THAT WORK) only thing really wrong with it is no A/C and a single rip on one of the back seats... the previous owner won 4 diff car shows with it, very nice car and 7500 was a great deal!!! @14tmarti what years are you talking about
-
@guitarhero30 280 or 290? they only made 245 tops
-
The RS has the factory small blocks and the SS has the big blocks. I have a 92 RS and am rebuilding a 350 small block to put in it.

Your RS has around 170hp. A normal Z28 will have 205hp, A G92 Optioned z28 will have 230hp, (like mine) and the Heritage edition will have 245hp. Wish they made a 350 with the 5 speed in it. Nice car, Take care of it.
What does RS stand for, and does it make a difference in price and power? I'm looking to get a 92 camaro in a year or two.

@thesniper1191 It stands for Rally Sport, and yes it does, to my knowledge the rally sports have 305 c.i motors in them, makin around 200 horses or so, and the Z28's have the bigger 350 probably pushing around 280 or 290, of course you will probably find ur self paying a little more for the Z28...hope this helps.
