The majority of people at the G20 protest were peaceful, yet they faced a response that was OTT. People were unjustly detained en masse for many hours and when they tried to leave they were hit back into the area. One innocent man even died.

G20 was as much about whacking everyone as it was about trying to prevent disorder. Why didn't they arrest those causing problems when they had the chance? Instead they used the unlawfulness of a few to crack down on everyone.

@LUCA7FOLD anarchist have their place in those protest they are part of most of the organizing efforts and have taken part in most social struggle for more then 200 years and wont be going away anytime soon like it or not the black bloc is a tactic that is used since the early 80s and is still gaining in popularity in north America it' still fairly new since the tactic is used since 1991 and gaining popularity it wont go away

they picked up the rock where a few of the real anarchist were breaking them in half in order to make the throw able I have no idea what was their plan other then taking one away from the anarchists but from that point on they got pushed out by the real anarchists until Dave Cole spotted the confrontation and deescalated it

@bugmyass Ok..I live in Quebec, I remember this, I had two friends who were actually there (I lived in Gatineau then, 30 minutes away from Montebello) and this was not just exposed on youtube. The Sureté du Québec (provincial police) admited it on public tv. As for provocation, they were provocative just by the way they were dressed and masked and by having big rocks in their hands...and if no one would have spoted them, what was the plan ? ever think of that ? Probably not.
