I just sat on the edge of my seat as excited as ever watching this! I miss this damn race so much, I drive passed MIS everyday and cry about it.

2001 in my opinion was the last good year for Open Wheel racing in America....CART/Champ Car was never the same after 01' and the IRL has always been sub-par with their dumbed down version of Indycar racing....It was truly an end of an era : (

Michigan needs to be on the 2009 IRL calendar, what an exciting race. Patrick Carpentier is my favourite racing driver, too bad he drives in NASCAR.
