You know when they lifted her up, she broke her ribs. Listen to when she breaths in. Listen at 3:34 - 3:43. Sounds like she hurt herself, huh? My music teacher told me. And if you look into her eyes, you can see the pain she has. And she kept going because broadway cannot mess up. She didn't want to mess up infront of millions of people. She kept going, which surprises me.

Oh, ok. Why would you go to the hospital for a broken rib? I'm not saying that it's stupid or anything, it's just that the doctors can't do anything to fix it. Then again, the probably didn't know it was a broken rib....

@glamour Either way she did not break a rib here she broke it during one of performances and they had to stop the show and she was taken to the hospital.

not necessarily.... breaking a rib isn't like breaking other bones. it hurts, but not cry out in pain hurt. trust me, i'd know. i don't know the story, if it was muscle spasms or a broken rib, but if she did break one, she wouldn't have to be crying out in pain.

@LeBeauPapillon1 she broke her ribs on her 3rd or 2nd to last show when she fell down a trap door....she apparently had an asthma attack before she went on because she had won the tony they were not going to let her perform but she insisted :)

@LeBeauPapillon1 I think either you or your music teacher are confused she did not break a rib here, just getting a muscle spasm(which doesn't even come close to a cracked/broken rib) would not allow one to sing like she did she'd be crying in pain!

@LeBeauPapillon1 On her second-to-last performance of Wicked on January 8, 2005, she fell through a trap door and cracked a lower rib. The injury prevented her from performing in the January 9 show. She didn't break it here.
