What an absolute piece of crap this book is. It's so bogus, made worse by the reviews from other authors from Putnam calling it "great" and "immortal".
The scenes in London(especially when Frankie has a 'knee-trembler') are so poorly researched, as was Blake's use of a recorder that hadn't been invented yet(and actually justifying that use). How about when she talks about the ease of catching a train from London into Germany? Is she kidding?
The only good passages were when Frankie was in Europe
