actually yea. anybody could tell the difference between launch control (which this car has) and antilag (which rallycars have) or at least i thought. launch control doesnt keep your boost up in between shifts. it just builds it off the line. case in point this evo.

That backfire is caused by an anti-lag device. It helps keep boost pressures up between shifts and at launch.

ACTUALLY, it's both. There is launch control, which you can hear just before launch. but in between shifts, that's the anti-lag. launch control shuts off after reaching a certain speed, because its not needed.
