ABL's Project Zambia

At the invitation of the First Lady of Zambia, the Honorable Maureen Mwanawasa, the Academy of Business Leadership President & CEO Anna Ouroumian visited Zambia and stayed at the First Lady's guest house in Lusaka to explore ABL's expansion to Zambia. In 2006, in collaboration with the First Lady of Zambia and the Harvard Women's Leadership Board, Anna Ouroumian nitiated and launched the ABL "Project Africa" initiative where five "vulnerable but viable" young wome from Zambia were brought to Los Angeles to stay with American host families and participate in ABL's award winning seven week long Summer Business Institute at USC, Cal State Los Angeles, Cal State Dominguez Hills, and Cal State Fullerton. The Following are highlights from Anna's trip to Zambia.
