  • I have a Nissan Spe v, and they have a problem where the catalytic converter is too close to the engine. Plus Sentras don't have EGR Valves. Therefore sucks up more oil. Anyways back to the cat converter, they designed the cat too lose to the engine, which causes the cat to heat up too much and crumble. Basically it backfires into the engine, and ruins the whole engine. But if this isn't the problem sounds like you have a vacuum leak. But in future reference buy a steel header and replace the cat

  • @murkd this is a new engine that i finished installing it was missing a pcv valve gasket causing erratic idle the header has been replaced. that was the first thing that i did when i installed my new engine

  • since you have the problem solved maybe you can answer me this... i have the same sentra but i have a gap in my front bumper where it should meet the fender...it seems you have the same thing so im wondering if this is normal

  • well my whole car was repainted and they did a shitty job placing everything back together. I think i have some clips broken/missing/not connected. I also got a dent which could have caused it to sag some. It dosent look to bad.

  • put a sr20de engine , with this engine you dont have more problems

  • @VIHUELERO2001 one suggestion get rid of it. J/K i have an 03 and its been nothing but problems. same issue burns oil runs rich. if its burning oil than most likely either a butterfly screw got sucked into the engine which could also cause it to burn the hell out of gas due to the butterfly valves not opening and closing correctly. or your precat failed and shit got into your engine and damaged your pistons causing it to burn oil. my spec had both of those problems

  • my sentra burns oil and gas like crazy!! i replaced the pcv valve but not the gasket! any suggestions? other than changing the header and cat?

    thank u

  • new vids coming up???

  • @Trampolinemaster2300 thanks for the reply,,

  • @black200sxser It was missing the gasket for the pcv valve causing erratic idle

  • @Trampolinemaster2300 WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM? >>

  • that just sounds like a massive vaccum leak
