CVHS Armenian Genocide Video

This video was present on April 22nd at the Glendale High School auditorium on behalf of Crescenta Valley High School. I filmed, edited and directed the video myself with the help of a few of my good friends.

The idea for the video began in a discussion between Shant and me about the Armenian Genocide today, and how we feel like we aren't exercising our potential to further our cause. I sat down with some people and tried to brainstorm all the possible ways a teenager like me can fight for recognition of the atrocities of 1915 committed by the Ottoman Empire.

What the Armenians will not tell you. Not all the Armenians were taken . The Armenians from Europe and constinople were not taken. Only the Armenians from the Middle East were forced on the death march to Syria.. And the sultan of Turkey at that time was an Armenian Muslim.

Year by year, more Armenians stop protesting. Let's use Egypt as an example, they protested until they're president stepped down. Imagine if all Armenians around the World protested for days, not just April 24, but for days and day. If we all went on a hunger strike, we just might get our wish. Protesting once a year is not gonna make a difference. Why don't you all think about that, think about it a lot.
