Or, to be more specific, a test involving an Akai Professional LPD8 Laptop Pad Controller with Logic Pro 8's UltraBeat drum sequencer. If you want an mp3 for whatever reason, again, just ask.

  • Just bought one and still don't really understand how to use it. HELP! Make a Tutorial?

  • @JimereMusic There's a link in the description.

  • How did you trigger the kick and high hat loops with the pad???

  • @jatinpuri The Ultrabeat instrument has triggered loops. SFLogicNinja has a good tutorial on it- it's where I learned how to do it. XD

  • I use Garage band... I just thought this did more that just act as a controller. . . not impressed with it.

  • excellent. inspiring. thanks!

  • Did you set the knob parameters in Logic? good stuff

  • can u send me a link to that tutorial ? btw nice vid !!

  • @Goomba4001 Cheers

  • @srmrmatt When editing MIDI, change "Piano Roll" at the bottom of the screen to "Score"- you should be a lot more comfortable with that. You don't necessarily have to use loops- you can just make one very, very long MIDI region that you can place all of your notes in, if it is easier.
