    Even html5 fully supports html4 and even html3.

  • @MrJloa We don't create the SCORM spec. We just make sure it works for people. And one way is by making all our stuff work for both 1.2 and 2004 so people don't even have to think about this issue. And yes, it's a little crazy that they aren't backwards compatible. Just another one of the things that make SCORM tough to implement.

  • Ough, didn't know that we weren't the actual developers of the scorm specs - my bad. Padon moi ^_^

    Althought, as i'm a developer i would cut their hands off for such a thing like "incompability" with the older versions. I always thought that the scrom standart differs from version to version only with the amount of details (i.e. data) that transfers from client -> server and backwards.
