Just by not taking care of it, neglecting it, if something goes wrong with it, not fixing it for a long time. Or just old age lol

oh no problem at all! It means that the engine is pretty much done for, it can happen by a variety of ways, the internals of the engine can be screwed up by neglect, I know I've seen engines actually blow a hole but this one isn't to that point yet. it's getting a new engine in it
